The Sohkitehew program is a bi-weekly, eight-month intensive mentorship program designed, and led by program participants. This program seeks to reduce the unique barriers for FNIM founders in the agri-food sector by supporting personal and business growth this program is developed for, and by Indigenous entrepreneurs across Canada. FEAD will be facilitating this program with the initiatives, topics, and speaker requests coming from the community of participants.

Key Notes About The Sohkitehew Program:

The program will run virtually over Zoom and be open to food founders in; BC, AB, SK, MB, ON, QC, YK, NWT, and NU.

This program will begin January 2024, and be ongoing for the subsequent 8 months on a bi-weekly basis.

Applications for the FIRST cycle will be accepted until December 31st, 2023.
